It seems interesting. I’ll play with the idea, test something, before I can give a formal answer. But you can say them that if they badly want it, it will be in Fontmatrix soon :) There’s an open (mean "no registration needed") bugtracker for fontmatrix where you could detail a bit more the expected behaviour of such a feature, it would help - https://gna.org/bugs/?func=additem&group=undertype .
